Cyberfox Computers - TERMS AND CONDITIONS


General Policies:
All goods remain the property of Cyberfox Computers until payment is received in full.

All new computer systems and parts come with a 12 month return to base warranty.

All reconditioned computer systems and parts come with a 3 month return to base warranty.

Payment in full is required at the time of order for any new computer system or upgrade. Payment accepted can be either cash, paypal payment or bank deposit.

When systems are brought to our premises for repair we charge a flat rate for our labour, if we are unable to complete a successful repair we will waive this fee. If any parts are required you will be contacted for your agreement and parts will be charged extra.

Payment and Refund Policy:
Accepted Payment
Cyberfox Computers accepts Cash, Paypal payment and Bank Deposit only.

Cheques are not accepted.

Refund Policy:
No refunds, Unless Strong reasons according to Fair Trading legislation and only within 7 days from purchase date.

Goods exchanged/refunded must be in original condition and packaging when returned.

Any products returned may incur up to a 50% restocking fee.




Pickup and Delivery:
All pickups/deliveries will be treated with utmost urgency. Every effort will be made to pickup/deliver equipment ASAP.

Delivery terms are subject to stock availability and local courier cut off times. All quoted freight/courier charges may vary.

Freight/Courier charges may depend on the cubic weight of the parcel and destination.

Cyberfox Computers is not responsible for unforeseen delay(s) in delivery/pickup times with courier. We will make every effort to ensure that equipment is picked up/delivered in a timely fashion. However this can be affected by courier cut off times and other unforeseen delays within the Courier company itself.

Customers are responsible for any unforeseen damages or loss of goods in transit.




Warranty Policy:

Please make sure you retain your receipt for any purchases of goods or services. Not retaining your invoice can lead to warranty difficulties.

Cyberfox Computers Standard warranty for new computers is one year return to base warranty, unless otherwise stated

We honour manufacturers warranty period. (most components have 12 months manufacturer warranty)

We honour / pass any warranty terms and conditions from our supplier onto the customer

Warranty will not be covered if any products are physically damaged.

Warranty does not include software issues or loss of data.

Any part returned for warranty that tests 'ok' may incur $30 testing charge.

CD Media has no warranty unless manufacturer defects are visible and can be proven to be such defects.

All parts excluding external peripherals will be swapped if in stock up to 2 months after purchase. (Excludes special order items)

If customers choose to install any Cyberfox Computers products themselves, Cyberfox Computers will not be responsible for any failure that may occur to those products due to incorrect installation, or by not following installation guidelines recommended by the product's designers. Cyberfox Computers recommends a trained technician (preferably at Cyberfox Computers) should install any hardware purchased from us.

Cyberfox Computers is not responsible for any VOID of warranty from its original manufacturer once customer decides to leave their equipment with Cyberfox Computers for repair or service. This means for example if you have a computer still under warranty through another shop we are not responsible for voiding that warranty by servicing/repairing that equipment.

Cyberfox Computers may need to charge a testing fee of $5- $30(just like our suppliers do to us), if a returned "faulty" item is not faulty after testing it.

Cyberfox Computers always recommends backing up your data prior to service. Under no circomstances, will Cyberfox Computers be responsible for any software, data or hardware loss/corruption/problems while we carry out repair or sevice work. Should the customer need to go through an insurance claim, any excess fees required by the insurance company(s) will need to be paid by customer.

System / Monitor warranty: All new systems include a 1 years parts & 1 years labour (Return to Base) warranty.

All monitors have manufacturers warranty, dealt with directly by the manufacturer.

LCD screens are allowed some 'dead' pixels in the display before being classed as faulty (based on manufacturer specifications).
